THE BAVARIAN LION
The Bavarian Lion is found at the northern – western side of the district Pronia.
It has been carved into the rock by the German sculptor Siegel, at a natural size.
It was made at 1834 by an order of the king of Bavaria Leopold, Othonas father. In that area many Bavarian soldiers had died.
